Waterbury used Honda drivers learn Honda Fit among MSN's

Since buying a car, even a used one, is a major purchase and there are so many things to consider in today's vehicles, your Waterbury used Honda dealer wants to share some reviews with you from MSN Autos on which used cars were rated the best buys in their respective classes.

MSN Autos has reviewers in the auto industry who drive and rate between 50 and 100 cars each year and then report their findings on every detail so those of us who don't have the time to drive 50 cars can make an informed decision. Puntman County, NY used Honda dealer customers will appreciate the tips.

So, here we go:

In the Subcompact car category, the Honda Fit got top honors with the Sport 5-speed AT. MSN Autos Senior Producer Perry Stern said, "The Fit makes better use of space than just about any car on the market." This is because the rear seat can fold flat and create 57.3 cubic feet of space. It's also fun to drive, he says and the price sits at an affordable $15,000 to $19,000. Waterbury used Honda buyers will want to look at this model.

The Compact car class placed the Mazda3 at the top of its list in part because of the impressive way the cockpit has been set up. It also handles well, and that goes for the hatchback and the sedan. One MSN Autos reviewer calls it "no-nonsense fun" and with a 263-horsepower engine that's probably not an exaggeration. This car can be had for between $15,000 and $23,000.

Hyundai Sonata takes the title in the Midsize car class and that's because it competes with brands like the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry but is much more affordable. Having received a makeover in 2011 it now has the "look and feel of an upscale luxury car" according to one reviewer.

The Compact Crossover/SUV category was dominated by the Hyundai Santa Fe and it has the upscale interior of a much more expensive SUV, according to MSN Autos. With two fuel-efficient engines to choose from and the option of either front- or all-wheel drive, the prices range from $21,695 to $30,295.

Chevrolet Traverse gets the nod for best value in the Midsize Crossover/SUV class. It offers more room than its competitors and gets great mileage. MSN Autos reviewer Matt DePaula claims, "The ride and handling are excellent for such a large vehicle, making it feel smaller and nimbler than it really is." Small it is not, though. Eight adults can ride "comfortably" and it starts at less than $30,000.
